Infinity Augmented Reality Inc (OTCMKTS:ALSO) is an exciting story developing in small caps that continues to trade strong just over $0.04 support levels.
The stock made an explosive move up earlier this year on renewed interest in the Augmented Reality Company which has some exciting new developments and is currently presenting their technology at the Cloud Expo in London.
Infinity Augmented Reality Inc (OTCMKTS:ALSO) vision is about creating a new digital environment that will allow people to naturally interact with augmented content in their physical surroundings. ALSO provides the revolutionary software platform that makes the digital eyewear experience (i.e. Meta, Google Glass) a reality. ALSO is the first augmented reality software platform to connect universally with digital eyewear, smartphones and tablets, integrating multiple devices into one platform.
Moshe Hogeg purchased a substantial amount of Infinity AR common stock on the open market back in 2013; He is a veteran technology entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Mobli a social and mobile photo and video sharing website which as of November 2013 has 12 million users; he has recently concluded a contract with Carlos Slim’s American Movil Company.
InfinityAR’s augmented reality development engine enables accurate 3D digital scene representation of one’s current physical environment, using basic, affordable hardware. It’s designed to turn any device into a powerful content augmentation platform, so developers can quickly and easily introduce applications with rich AR experiences to market.
ALSO engine performs the most basic need for all other components – the ability to accurately and robustly identify the same points in different image frames (taken from different location and/or time). This involves smart and diverse feature extraction (with sub-pixel fine-tuning), descriptors for each of those features, smart mechanisms to be able to create matches, followed by robust techniques such as RANSAC for removing outliers.
The engine provides more than just 3D mapping – detailed and accurate 3D scene representation, extracting data from 3D physical worlds in real time. Advanced natural user interface – natural hand movements to control augmented objects. Face to face operability – even if both sides wear glasses – 2 different users can “look” at the same object from their different positions
ALSO engine uses very basic and affordable hardware – 2D stereoscopic cameras, to provide A) An accurate digital 3D scene representation of one’s current physical environment Enabling an intelligent understanding of the mapped 3D scene by creating a depth map and 3D reconstruction.

C) Ongoing analysis of user orientation and position in the environment and Sensing and presenting the environment from the user’s point of view – because it keeps moving.
Last year ALSO said it raised $2.5 million in funding led by Credit Strategies, LLC and with Genesis Angels Fund, LP. The company will use the new funds to further advance the development of its core software solutions.
The last press release cam in January when ALSO announced it will be jointly showcasing enterprise augmented reality applications at the upcoming International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), taking place in Las Vegas, NV, January 6-9, 2015.
The two companies will demonstrate the disruptive potential of augmented reality combined with see-through display glasses. While the applications for professional markets are vast, the demos being shown on the show floor will focus on medical sample use cases.
Using the Lumus glasses, viewers of the demos will be able to see augmented medical information and skeleton imaging from a doctor’s point of view superimposed on a patient. The benefits of such capability to an operating room doctor, for example, include the ability to intuitively and more efficiently present critical medical information while avoiding the need to avert the physician’s eyes from the patient.
