NaturalShrimp Inc (OTCMKTS: SHMP) got another boost after the Company signed an LOI to acquire the assets of Alder Aqua, formerly known as VeroBlue Farms in Webster City, Iowa, including the real property, equipment, tanks, rolling stock, inventory, permits, contracts, customer lists and contracts and other such assets. The purchase price will be $10,000,000, consisting of a $5,000,000 down payment, and notes due. Additionally, the facilities located in Blairsburg, Iowa and Buckeye, Iowa are included in this transaction. The VeroBlue Farms facility already has in place 240 10,000-gallon tanks along with the systems and infrastructure previously used for fish production

This comes on the heals of an LOI to acquire the assets of F&T Water Solutions LLC for $10,000,000, consisting of $3,000,000 in cash and the balance due in stock, subject to adjustment. The transaction is subject to successful completion of the offering previously announced in the filed 8K. According to SHMP the move will help consolidate the Companies  Intellectual Property as it pertains to non-shrimp aquatic species and other RAS opportunities into a new wholly owned subsidiary. F&T does maintain additional water and water related opportunities that will be evaluated for potential sale or spin-out as appropriate.

NaturalShrimp Inc (OTCMKTS: SHMP) headquartered in Dallas, Texas is an aquaculture company that has developed and patented the first commercially-operational RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) for growing shrimp in enclosed, salt-water systems to produce fresh, never frozen, naturally grown shrimp, without the use of antibiotics or toxic chemicals. NaturalShrimp systems can be located anywhere in the world to produce gourmet-grade Pacific White Shrimp. NaturalShrimp’s patented Vibrio Suppression Technology effectively eliminates water-borne bacteria and other harmful organisms and keeps ammonia at safe concentration levels, thus eliminating one of the historically most difficult problems in shrimp aquaculture. Closed-System Shrimp Farming is inherently superior because it’s sustainable, ecologically friendly and cost-effective. And, the potential to commercially scale this solution represents an immense competitive advantage for NaturalShrimp.

SHMP

SHMP is building a 40,000 square foot shrimp production building. When completed, it will contain twenty 2,000-gallon nursery tanks, forty 20,000-gallon growout tanks, two 10,000-gallon settling tanks, and one 20,000-gallon harvest tank for a total tank volume capacity of 880,000 gallons. The building will include an isolated visitor reception conference room to hold high level discussions with potential partnering groups. Employees will gain access to the building through a separate security/biosecurity entrance. The building will also house a water quality laboratory, aeration, heating, and feeding rooms, restrooms/showers, and some office/storage space. The harvest area will support the capturing and packaging of the harvested shrimp. At the same time the Company has continued its conversion of the existing 8,000 square foot greenhouse into a water treatment plant that will house the patented electrocoagulation (EC) filtration system. The internal renovation is nearing completion to make it ready for receiving the filtration system components. The Company is replacing the outer plastic greenhouse covering with metal sheeting to provide the security needed for protection of the contents. It will have its own security/biosecurity entrance with very limited access. Recently SHMP announced it plans to build an adjacent 40,000 square foot production facility (Site 2), at the La Coste site in Texas. The facility will mirror the existing site currently under construction.

On the LOI to acquire assets of Alder Aqua, formerly known as VeroBlue Farms in Webster City, Iowa, William J. Delgado, CFO of NaturalShrimp, added, “We are continuing our acquisition of strategic aquaculture assets in the United States and elsewhere. NaturalShrimp will be well positioned for the explosive growth in aquaculture expected the next several years and facilities such as these provide the Company with a marked competitive advantage within the marketplace.”
