HPEV Inc (OTCMKTS:WARM) took of Friday nearly doubling as buyers stepped in. The stock has been upwards bound since the Company announced it raised $650,000 from company insiders, existing shareholders and a new strategic shareholder to complete an MG (30) system on a Ford F350 Dually and to retire all existing convertible debt.
But WARM is a stock with a history of big moves; when this one starts to move Investors pay attention: WARM has a long history of big moves running from $0.25 to $2.28 a year ago.
HPEV Inc (OTCMKTS:WARM) is an intellectual property and product development company that employs a license and royalty model. The company has expertise in thermal dispersion technologies and their application to various product platforms. The Company is currently commercializing its patented thermal technology and has additional patents-pending for various OEM applications of its proprietary heat removal technologies. The markets that will be addressed by these technologies include myriad industries such as pumps, fans, compressors, batteries, motors, generators and bearings.
The shell was incorporated in the State of Nevada in July 2002 as Z3 Enterprises, Inc. In April 2012 the Company changed their name to Bibb Corp and in October 2010 they changed their name to HPEV Inc.
The technologies are divided into three distinct but complementary categories: heat dispersion technology, mobile electric power and electric load assist. As of September 30, 2014, we have 5 patents and 5 patent applications pending in the area of composite heat structures, motors, and related structures, heat pipe architecture, applications and a parallel vehicle power platform.
WARM intends to commercialize our patents by licensing our thermal technologies and applications to electric motor, pump and vehicle component manufacturers; by licensing or selling a mobile electric power system powered by our proprietary gearing system to commercial vehicle and fleet owners; and by licensing a plug-in hybrid conversion system for heavy duty trucks, buses and tractor trailers to fleet owners and service centers.
Earlier this year WARM said that it will unveil its proprietary Mobile Generation (MG) technology at the industry’s premier demonstration convention, The Work Truck Show, put on by The Association for the Work Truck Industry, in Indianapolis, IN, March 4-6.

The MG is a breakthrough in energy efficiency technology in that it utilizes a truck’s own power to generate power for compressors, welders, bucket truck arms, or even homes left powerless after a storm. All of this power is built right into the truck, nothing to tow and no environmental issues that accompany tow-behind generators. The technology is fuel agnostic and therefore can significantly reduce a truck’s carbon footprint. The technology can be driven on CNG (compressed natural gas), LNG (liquid natural gas), Fuel Cell, standard gasoline and diesel. The technology can provide power, up to 200kWh, in no idle zones and anywhere a truck can go. The technology also reduces fuel usage because there is no need to tow a trailer.
On September 7 WARM said it raised $650,000 from company insiders, existing shareholders and a new strategic shareholder to complete an MG (30) system on a Ford F350 Dually and to retire all existing convertible debt. The truck will be demonstrated to target OEM’s, up-fitters and future partners later this year. A key partner, Inverom Corporation/Innova EV, is handling the balance of the work to be done.
“Enabling work trucks to generate up to 200 kW of electricity from an onboard system is going to open a lot of eyes and generate a lot of orders. The applications are immense,” said investor, current stockholder and former Navistar Chairman and CEO, Daniel Ustian.
Two hundred fifty thousand of the total investment is earmarked to complete the Ford F350 MG system. The balance is being used to retire the remaining convertible debt on the company’s books.
